I'm really disappointed by MS Onedrive in my WP. I can upload the files easily and smoothly to onedrive through my web browser from my PC. But when it comes to downloading it downloads 0bytes files and shows the error message that it can't download the files now and try again later.
I have tried it using Wi-Fi and sim Data connection. In both cases it failed. It happens all the time, no matter which type/format file i try to download. ?

Anybody have any idea why this happens? Even the native mail doesn't sync my drafts or sent mails. I tried to sync it forcefully but it never works.
I love WP OS but MS' own apps are a huge disappointment.:unhappy:

And there is no 'select all' option inside a folder in onedrive app to select multiple files inside a folder.

My suggestion is to uninstall/reinstall OneDrive.

Uninstall it first and then do a soft reset. (Soft reset -> hold volume down and power button together until the phone vibrates, you may need to reset time and date).

Reinstall it using WiFi to reduce the possibility of a bad install (happens)

As for multiple files usually there's an icon on the bottom that looks like a circle with check marks in it. That's multi select.

What type of file(s) are you trying to download? I haven't had any problems at all downloading files using the Onedrive app on my 1520. Have you tried restarting your phone? (hold power and volume buttons down together for about 10 seconds until it vibrates)

edit: nevermind, Rue beat me to it! lol

About Multiselect: I know about that, but even after you choose that option, i have to select each and every file individually. There is no 'select all' feature like in Photos app. :(

About Soft reset : What else will change other than time and date? I hope i won't be losing any data or anything.
Thanks for trying to help me. :)

No data is lost with a soft reset. A hard reset will wipe your phone clean. The reason I always suggest the time and date thing is to ensure that people check it as your syncing will be out of wack.

I'm going by memory but have you ever tapped the ... after taping the multselect? I think there might be a 'select all' there... If not it's one of those improvement things that MS needs to sort out.

Ok. I did the soft reset but even that did not help me. 😢 . Even if you tap the three dots, there is no 'select all' option. Definitely a fail from Microsoft. 😠

Did you do an uninstall/reinstall?

Onenote notes you don't ever need to download. They're automatically synced across all devices that are signed in with the same Microsoft account. Even the slightest change you make on one device, will be reflected on all.

As for Jpeg images, you should be able to download those just fine.

I don't usually use Onenote much. It was a file sent by one of my client and via another site. I downloaded it in my PC and uploaded as a onenote to web so that i can access that data through my phone. Even though i was able to access it through my PC it never opened up in my phone! :(

What about the Onedrive website? Either mobile or desktop mode.. can you download from there?
