OnePlus Two launched few hours ago. It seems to give a challenge to "Yet to announce" Windows flagship phones with such a high specs at such a low price.

Do you think that "OnePlus Two" launch leaves a high Expectation from 'Windows Phone Fans' from the coming Windows Flagship phones?

Android phones pop up monthly...Microsoft phones are a different story.

Frankly I don't see the OnePlus Two mattering much for the exuberant fans of Microsoft Mobile.
With the Lumia 950 on the horizon as a super phone most folks here are pointed at it and could care less about what the other guys are doing.

What about the price?? If the oneplus 2 has a windows mobile version at that price point and Microsoft launches the 950 with the same specs for 600-800??

Which will you buy?

The OnePlus is a great phone!

And you guys need to get out of this mentality that Lumia = Windows Phone. It's not.

This is the same mentality Samsung users have. Samsung = Android.

It disgusts me.

329 dollars for 16gb and 389 dollars for 64gb.. If oneplus 2 comes with windows version then im definitely going for it.. 4gb of ram would run super smooth with w10.. The only bad thing is the SD810 which has heating issues

Android phone are and will always cheaper than Windows phone (no clue why, legal issue?) and every month there some new one. Windows phone doesn't even stand a chance if you're always considering price point with specifications. So it isn't comparable.

To add, i can say that Windows Flagships are gonna have IRIS scanner instead of Fingerprint making it very fast

I would love a one plus two running windows phone 8.1/10 !!

Microsoft is in Mood of Bringing Custom ROMs to Xiaomi but not sure about OnePlus. BTW here we are discussing about Windows Flagship Device.

RAM is not a issue of Windows mobile OS as in case of Android. And Heating issue is no more there, according to their CEO.

Just on the photographic aspect, 1+1 has a decent camera. Good for casual snaps. But if you delve deeper into photography, you'll outgrow shooting in preset scene-modes. Unless 1+2 has full manual controls, I'm pinning on the next W10 flagship... it'll be my logical step forward

I'm certainly considering switching, I don't think much of 10 currently and it may take MS 12 months to actually get it working right and for any significant increase in apps the 950 seems a bit meh as well.

To all of you tech guru guys, how easy is for a company (Xiaomi, Lenovo, etc) that already makes cheap android phones, to make a windows phone?
I am not talking about samsung or so, obviously they wouldn't make that move. But for an other manufacturer how technically sustainable would it be to make a windows phone

This is the reason why Microsoft has reduced the number of phones that they produce every year so that other OEMs can get into it. It does not make a lot of difference for OEMs whether it's Android or Windows(in terms of Manufacturing and not User base, for e.g see Xiaomi ). ITechnically it's sustainable for them.

I rather pay the couple bucks extra for a smooth, lag free performance. Have you ever used a low end android? Horrendous.

I just picked up a blu win hd lte for $130 and its great! have you ever used a blu android phone? lol

The low end Androids are mostly MTK based ones with limited RAM size. Even with 1Gb ram, it will still be buggy as there are MTK related programs operating invisibly without users knowledge... Not to mention, most of those low end phones comes with low quality touch screens that often left a negative experience to users in navigation smoothness.

If you've used the W10 mobile preview, then you know besides the start screen, W10 Mobile looks and feels a lot like Android. I think some will be swayed by the 1+2, especially those who buy their smartphones outright, rather than through carrier subsidy.

I don't see a huge problem with this being a WP killer. Why? because its not readily available.....ANYWHERE. The one plus one, you needed an invite to buy one. If it's the same with this, then no worries. If its available in stores, its going to be more expensive than it is now, so.....No worries.

As a WP loyalist who utterly despises Lagdroid as well as its forks (CyanogenMod, MIUI etc.), I'm honestly not bothered. I'm more excited about the Lumia 950/950 XL which if properly marketed can give this overrated Chinese device called the OnePlus Two a real run for its money.

You're easily disgusted.

Who else is making Windows phones right now? Who has/plans to have what could be considered a flagship on Windows phone.

That's right. Lumia/Microsoft.

Samsung - silence.
HTC - silence.
