Only black Type Cover available

Only Black Type Cover (for Surface 3) is currently available for ordering in Hong Kong. The same situation happens in other regions.

I just wonder why Microsoft does not allow customers to make an order even if shipping may take longer time?

I believe some potential customers have given up ordering Surface 3 just because they cannot choose the colour of type cover they like.

Is there any difficulties for Microsoft to ensure the availabilities of type cover colours in different regions?

Type cover is almost a must for many users and the lack of colours available is really a problem affecting the sales of Surface. Last year, Surface Pro 3 has similar problems. (Only after about 6 months have all the type cover colours back to "available").

Surface-pen colours have the same issue....

That's interesting. Singapore only has black, red and cyan available. It's frustrating but I guess in these markets they weren't expecting that many sales perhaps.
