Order Has Been Shipped!

Microsoft Orders are all being delivered Monday or sooner (some deliveries scheduled for today). From Amazon, it seems to ship Monday, arriving Tuesday or Wednesday.
 
When I got home, I had a look at that email on my computer, as opposed to my phone, where I can see the shipping notification is only for the type cover. Not so happy.

Sounds like ours are travelling together - mine was also last scanned departing Louisville, KY after going through Harrisburg, PA and Linthicum, MD (I don't even believe that is a real place :) ). My type cover seems to be on a different path from Ontario, CA and also through Louisville, KY. I love watching the circuitous route that these things take.
 
Guys one question. Does anyone has experience ordering something from MS store, even if you don't have their store in your country? Anyone tried this before? I will likely order SP4 in december, hoping to catch some discounts before new year maybe, but i have no idea if they can ship to another country or not? If not, i will have to find it elsewhere, maybe for a higher price.

I haven't had to deal with this because we have the Microsoft Store in Canada, but often the products we order in Canada still come from the U.S. As is the case with my recent Surface purchase. Researching Microsoft's shipping policies seems to be somewhat tricky. What about ordering from Amazon.com? They seem to deliver world-wide.

It looks like I'm going to have my new Surface sometime tomorrow or maybe Tuesday morning. I'm so excited! For some reason the type cover and Surface are two separate shipments. The type cover has been scanned in at the final sorting facility so it will probably be out for delivery in the morning. But the Surface itself is showing as one step behind and hasn't been scanned in at that final sorting facility yet. It's going to be really disappointing it I only receive a type cover tomorrow and have to wait another whole day for the Surface :smile:
 
I have ordered from the microsoft store previously.

However, I am in the caribbean so use a freight forwarding service. AKA "Skybox"

Works like a charm. Also, Just FYI, my skybox his miami this morning (oct 26) I should have it in 2-3 days :)
 
Frustrating thing is my type cover is out for delivery today, but absolutely no new info of the tab itself even though they were both pre ordered on the day they were announced. People picking theirs up at the MS store today, and my pre order is in limbo...not at all happy.
 
Perhaps the shipping updates are slow? Took mine several hours before it showed up that it was out for delivery this morning (delay of about 3-4 hours?). Stay strong!
 
I'm in exactly the same position - type cover is out for delivery and yet the Pro 4 seems to be stuck at the "Shipping Label" stage. Have spoken with Microsoft reps and they tell me it will arrive today, but UPS doesn't seem to think so. Really frustrated by this.
 
Mine were both delivered. Unfortunately I had them delivered to the office since I would normally be there on a weekday, but today is my day off so now I have to go up to the office to pick them up :smile:
 
I noticed on my phone, the delivery status was behind, but on the desktop it was up to date. Not sure if that's an issue for those with the shipping problem.
 
Chiming in here...I ordered mine from MS...

I got nothing on the SP4 - it just says 'in process', with keyboard and dock coming today (email confirmations/tracking #'s).


I just called Microsoft and went thru all the prompts, then it said my call couldn't be completed at this time and disconnected me.

I called back and am holding...with a 16 minute estimated hold time.

UPDATE - According to customer service, it be shipped within 24 hours...also, wait time was about three minutes, so at least that was good.
