OS update this morning

Yesterday my desktop got an OS update to 10525.
This morning my Lumia 640 XL got an OS update but I don't know what the number is.

Anyone know the number and what they changed / improved?

Microsoft has the strangest thing in their updates.
When you click on " Details " it take you to pages that do not give you the details.
On the phone this morning when I clicked ' details ' it gave me the page telling me how to get updates!!!
Gee thanks I didn't know how to do that before --- I'm new to computers didn't get my first one until 1984.

It seemed to be a MAJOR update. It took as long as putting W10 on in the first place over Windows 8.1.

You can see the OS Version in Settings > About > More Information
Can you post the OS Version number here? I bet a lot of us are curious.

Hmm just checked my phone it has the latest update.. It seems it has arrived updated to the latest build 4 weeks ago

It looks as a firmware update (specific to a device) rather than an OS update (which would hit all devices) then

I see one problem here ... some of us are talking about Windows 8 it appears and some have Windows 10.

I'm surprised a bunch of techies wouldn't all have installed Windows 10 Insider Previews.

You got the latest update for Mobile - I'm assuming you're in the Fast Ring of Insiders. I'm in the Slow Ring and we don't have that build available yet.
