Other Storage

I know the "other storage" topic has been thoroughly discussed on multiple threads but I'm wondering what people are averaging with the 8.1 dev preview. I'm around 700MB.

What's your other storage at??

That's odd. Phone Storage gives me zero bytes of other.

I don't really bother checking my storage anymore. 8.1 manages it well. Free space fluctuates between 2.20 to 2GB. If I select clear temporary files, It shoots up to 2.3 GB soo I'm not bothered.
Lumia storage check says its 1.7 GB
btw I;m using a 625 with 8GB of storage

1.7GB seems kinda high, especially on a 8GB phone. My 8GB 8X would get over 1GB but never over 1.5GB.

I wish there was a better file manager that would allow you to see what is included in the "other" storage.

I guess as long as my 1520 stays under a gig I shouldn't worry about it.

Yikes!! That's alot in a week. Do you have your auto backup and auto picture upload turned on? That could cause it to go up rapidly. The only way to get rid of 8GB is to do a factory reset.

I have this same issue and nothing I have done has deleted it. It was fine under a couple of MBs until today a status popped up that my phone storage was low so I looked and was like what the heck because I have all my apps photos etc on my memory card.
