Ok, so, I hadn't considered individual volume levels to be that big of a deal... until just a few minutes ago. I plugged in my iPhone headphones and kicked up "Thrift Shop" by Mackelmore on my 8X... the Beats Audio was bumpin' and thumpin' and I was rockin' that muthaf*cka.

...

And then I got a text message, and my eardrums about exploded.

So count me in for "individual volume controls" as something needed in WP8.

Just turn it to silent while listening to music. It's currently the only way.
