Outlook 17.6568.46122.0 crashing, how can I stop it?

Outlook 17.6568.46122.0 Crashing

I just updated to the latest version of Outlook Mail and Calendar. Both the mail and calendar portions of the app crash after about 7 seconds once opened. Is anyone else experiencing this? I thought this update was supposed to stop the crashes for those that had the issue lol.

Any help would be appreciated. Also let me know if I need to send more info. I am currently on the latest Insider Fast Ring build so it could be because of that (though I have switched to production ring to wait for the firmware update). Currently have the L950 Dual Sim US.

It could be that your mail is stuck in the syncing process? Try to enable airplane mode and then open outlook settings to see what's going on.

Everything syncs fine. I still get new e-mails pushed. Even deleted a bunch of emails on outlook.com and opened the app on my phone - those e-mails were gone. 7 seconds later the app closed. I still went ahead and turned on airplane mode to see if there was an issue like you said, unfortunately the app still closed.

Hope it's not just me lol.

Mail and calendar updates are still happening in the background. Also tried to switch o airplane mode and see if that stops the app crash but no luck.

Updated to the latest Fast ring build and still crashing.

My Outlook has also this issue after last update. No mather what I do, after 5-6 seconds app is closed.

i was able to fix it by using the windows device recovery tool. then re-updated with the fast ring. everything works as it should now.
