Windows Central Question

I recently purchased a new computer. I was successful in installing MS Office 2016 on my new computer. And I was successful in configuring my email account onto Outlook 2016. I even found out how to export my old contacts as a backup file from Outlook 2010 into a pst file and import that file into Outlook 2016. My calendars are finally synced up but how come I don't see any contacts in my new address book in Outlook 2016? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also upgraded as you did.

When you open up your address book, it will have a dropdown for the Address book currently in use. It should say "Contacts - myemail@email.com" (whatever your email address is). I noticed mine was using the wrong email address, as I use more than one email address. I had to manually change it to where my contacts are actually saved.

These contacts are not available across email addresses. This is something I do not understand, and is extremely irritating to work with. However, it is the way it is, and I have sent my complaint to Microsoft about it. After all, I'm paying for it.

Hopefully, this helps you to locate your contacts.
