Outlook.com/Windows Live duplication

Hello,

I converted/upgraded my email to Outlook.com, and I have deleted the old hotmail address.

Now whenever i make a new calendar appointment on my Windows Phone I get duplicate entries, one in Outlook and one in Windows Live (reminders are duplicated as well). I also have duplicate contact entries, both Outlook and Windows Live.

I would understand this to happen with historical/existing entries but all new appointments create two calendar entries and two reminders.

How to I get rid of the Windows Live entries as essientially it should all be on Outlook.com now?

I tried resetting my phone but of course i have to log in to Windows Live to activate the phone, then add the same details for Outlook.com when i set up email, is that the reason?

I am going to bump this three day old thread simply cause I am having the same issue and can not find a solution. Maybe someone new with the answer will see it.

See if this works.

On the phone:

Open Calendar
Hit the three dots
Chose settings
Turn on/off which calendar you want to see (slider)
