Outlook Contact pictures - Exchange Sync

I tried to search for this but could not find a clear answer...sorry if this has been already discussed...

When you sync Exchange account with your phone, do the contact pictures from your Outlook get copied to your phone contacts?

If they do get copied, what happens when facebook is integrated...will the facebook profile picture override the outlook contact pic?

thanks for any input....I'm seriously considering moving to WP7 (currently on WM6.5) and Exchange/Outlook sync is very important to me (including this silly outlook contact pic transfer )

Yes, it should sync your contact photos from exchange. As far as I know, Facebook only shows the contact photo on the phone. In other words, it does not sync the photo back to your exchange account.

I have a spanking new Titan that love more than the puppy snuggling to my feet!

I sync my outlook contacts and I have two problems: No pictures (important!) and the phone truncated many of the names in my contact list.

I think I can fix the latter--waz-up with the lack of pictures?

When I originally synced my outlook it imported all my contact picture to my 900. Now I changed a few outlook pictures but it didn't change them on my phone. Should it do that? If it matters I am using Exchange.

to the original op:

Yes your pictures get synced in outlook.

If you go into the specific contact, then hit the edit button at the bottom, then hit the picture, you'll be able to change it. If it's a linked contact with facebook/twitter/outlook then it gives you the option to choose one of those, or "find another" which goes to your pictures folders.

Obviously if it's just a facebook or twitter contact you can't change the picture, but if you wanted to you could create a contact with that person's name in windowslive contact, link the two together, and then edit the picture.

Thanks jmerrey, I understand that. I was wondering why my phone doesn't update when I changed the picture on my outlook on my computer.
