(Over) heating issues with the 950 versus 950XL?

Hello,

Can folks post your experiences with their 950s and/or 950XLs with regards to (over)heating with your usage patterns?

I would have thought the 950 (with its hexacore CPU setup of 2 high perf cores and 4 efficient cores) and lower clock speeds would be better in this regard compared to the octacore 950XL but seem to have read a few posts online where the 950XL might actually be better at heating issues.

Thoughts?

the 950xl has a heat sync pipe for cooling so that could be a factor

I was overheating on my 950xl, was also having data issues so I think the radios were working overtime. Did Factory reset and an upgrade, with no joy. Replaced the phone and everything is resolved.

Wonder how did you replace the phone ? My 950 xl seems to be getting warmer the longer I use it.
