look ma no case and no problems. The complaints about grease marks were also overblown.

I ended up sending my blue one back due to discoloration. I replaced it with a black one.

the plastic underneath busted through the rubber on one corner on my black 8x. not sure the cause, just saw it in the morning after waking up. was not dropped or scratched or anything. it's always in my front pants pocket, I was doing some work on the floor in my house in the days prior perhaps there was enough friction to stretch it in one spot. the rubber layer is VERY thin.
