Password protected microsoft office files don't work on WP8? >_<

I was looking to upload some of my very important and personal documents to skydrive in hopes that I can access them from my phone itself. I have obviously password protected the documents(.docx). And when I try to open it on my Lumia 920/WP8, i get an error as in the attached image.

Is there any possibility the MS will support encrypted files on Skydrive app on WP8?

Not a WP8 issue. Office Live does not support password protected files period.

I know this doesn't solve your problem, but password protected office documents are really not secure at all. There are free tools out there that can crack those passwords in about a second or less.
