Paste from clipboard

Maybe I'm missing something but I can't seem to paste something into my text message on my 950. It was simple on my 925, it just had the clipboard icon when I'd bring up a text. Is there a new way?

make sure it's copied?

I've been doing ok with it on my 950xl, sometimes it hides to the left a bit so swipe that blank area to pull it out if there is something to paste.

I also sometimes use clipboarder when I have trouble copying certain stuff

Thanks, finally got it to work. There was just a delay in the clipboard showing up and I want patient enough. Lol
