Pay Pal card reader doesn't work

Got the reader today, I have the sound turned all the way up, the phone knows the device is plugged in but the App doesn't recognize it.

Does it work for anyone else?

Works well with my Icon. I tested it using my debit and credit cards.

What app are you using, the regular PayPal app doesn't support the card reader AFAIK.

If this is PayPal HERE you're referring to then it's not currently supported on Windows devices.

I spoke with PayPal tech support and they helped me make it work. It seemed that if I open the app, plug in the reader, go back to the home screen, then open the app from the background it recognizes the reader and it works. Not perfect but it worked.
