Pc made impossibly slow by the latest cumulative update KB4013429

I've gone through my task manager there's nothing fishy going on. Ram and cpu usage are below 30%. This is a very new computer, i5 6500, gtx 1060 and what not. Disk usage is almost always at 100% now.. It's just, lagging, since the update.. Somebody plz tell me what to do..

This happens with my work PC too. Try turning off all apps that run in the background at high priority and disable any startup programs too. See if that makes a difference.
