Phone Backing up Photos to Google+

I just noticed that since the 8.1 update my phone is now uploading all my pictures to Google+...just like my Android phone used to. Is this a feature that I am not aware of? Is it an app? I did not even realize that this was possible before I got a notification that one of my photos was auto-awesomed.

Anyone know how this is happening?

Nope. Short of an occasional Youtube visit, my contact with that dysfunctional, feckless organization is minimal. But they told you if you install google chrome, they would keep their fingers in your business. I guess they meant it huh?
