Phone unresponsive when playing music from SD 64gb

Hi everyone. Loving my new 1520 on day 3. So I also purchased a SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card 30MB/s and it went in fine, found music, photos etc. I had about 18gb of Music on it at first. Then I added the rest of my music library, right around 52GB, i have 2.96 free space left. However now when I play a song the system plays the song, but the phone is totally unresponsive. Only a hard reset gets it back to life. Obviously it sounds like a bug, but I was wondering if anyone has seen or knows about this issue? I am in the process of losing 5gb at a time until it starts acting normal. I will update that when I get to that point. Thanks in advance.

I believe that is the same SD card I use. Haven't had the issue you are describing and I've been down to < 2GB free storage on it. Currently at about 2.36GB free storage on it. Also only have about 2.13GB free on the internal storage.
