Photo and Video Syncing not working

I think I messed up the pictures folders for WP8.1. For some odd reason, if I connect my phone to my computer and open the Windows Phone App on 8.1, it'll start importing the photos and video from my phone, but if you look at the status, it says that it's "importing 0 of 0" and it never shows up on my computer. Saving doesn't quite work either. Is there any way to get around this?

Are you using the Windows 8 Windows Phone app, or the Windows Phone app for Desktop?
