Photo App that'll edit/export full res Pureview pics?

So now that it's easier to see/work with those full res version Pureview pics on our Nokia devices with 8.1 (I used Pocket Explorer), are there any decent apps that'll retain the resolution upon export after editing? Some will open & edit them, but after export it shrinks the res way down. And Nokia Creative Studio won't even open them (says they're too big).

Just an opinion here.

I wouldn't expect a phone to handle editing large photos of any sort. If you're going to work with RAW images the best place for that is on a computer using proper software.

That's not to say some software won't come out, maybe Photoshop, but personally best option is a computer.

Well, I respect your opinion but honestly it sounds like an excuse for MS to be lazy. Being a former user of Android & iOS I can tell you right now they had plenty of apps that could edit huge file sizes & output them at the same resolution. People using SD cards taken from other cameras, stuff downloaded from the cloud, etc. Serious photographers doing serious work on their devices, tablets, etc.

Here Nokia gives us a "near dSLR" style camera in our phones & even their own software suite can't handle it. On top of that, the most res anything in the store will export at seems to be no larger than around 2400 pixels. That's kinda pitiful. I don't know if its a WP limitation of some sort or what, but still. This seems to be yet another area where MS doesn't understand how people may want to use their phones. They're not toys anymore.

Sorry for the rant, this stuff just irks me about them.

You are damn right!! I use Camera360 and Fantasia for editing photos. The final outcome is a bit shaky, less resolution, less size, which makes the image, Low quality. If the raw image is 3MB, the edited image is just 300-400KB., What happened to the size and quality?? A decent app or an upgradation of existing apps to suit this need will be much appreciated by all the community. MS should focus on every single detail to meet the user's satisfaction.

Ok. I've found a couple that do indeed save in either the original resolution or very close to it after editing. They are Fotoroom, OneLense & OneShot. Keep in mind with Fotoroom you have to register, but that takes a second.

I tested these with high res versions on my 1020 & they all came out great. Verified their dimensions & file sizes with Picture Info app.
