Photo Hub - Group by Time and Location is broken

I have deleted all my existing pics from my 920 and then uploaded a lot of photos from my PC. The Photo hub used to give a nice timeline of each month dating back to 1950's (my oldest pics) - very cool.

Now the All Photos hub just has one long list of photos and no date categories at all, whatever I have "Group by Time and Location" set to.

Has this app also got worse and have bugs?
UPDATE: Actually I can get it to list one date category "older photos" - fairly useless.

I can confirm that it may take a day or so but the timeline will get updated/recreated eventually. Mine did not actually happen overnight but it did nonetheless get there.

Same here. Currently using WP 8.1 update 1 dev preview.
Photo hub is extremely problematic. A LOT of bugs, including this one.
