Picking up a Lumia 520

Thought I should share this with you all... yesterday one of our genius programmers (Tom) let me know he found a sweetheart of a deal on the Lumia 520. Can't remember how much it was, $50 or $70 or something like that. Bottom line, Tom ordered one for me, and we're driving down to the US to pick it up (was a US deal only)... so we ship to the border and run it back home!

I got a Lumia 520 for $40 over the holidays. I did have to use it once when my girl's phone was off for repairs. I've since re-purposed it as a remote for my Xbox One using SmartGlass. :grin:

You have to let us know how you like it. Keep in mind it only has 512 ram so there will be some apps that won't run on it.

Good point. I could see that being a problem! Going to see if we can get around that... or find another device. The 520's are very reasonably priced these days, shouldn't be too hard!

Due to the nature of what I do, I'm switching all the time. BlackBerry, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone... heck, I used to have a Palm Pre kicking around here too, although I'm not quite sure where it is right now

At the moment I'm running a Nexus 5, and am wearing a Pebble (Smartwatch Fans!).

Not as many tablets... but I do have a Kindle, Tegra Note 7, Nexus 7, and iPad.

I don't think the 520 has the option to block annoying callers like the 92x and above has so just be aware of that.
