Great pictures! I want to buy 735 or 830 and I see now no big difference in pictures quality even when 830 contain OIS & PureView. 735 is comparable in pictures quality.

Some pics of flowers taken in the morning autumn sunshine. Using Microsoft Camera on auto settings, no flash, no post-processing or editing.

I'm getting some great photos with this camera.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures. You can nearly "feel" the sun :)
Makro shots are just one of the best by using a Lumia device. I remember when I beat the **** out of my wifes 5S wiht my Lumia 925 this summer. ... ... but saddly my 925 died :-(

But as many here I'm thinking about getting a Lumia 830 or 730/735.

No EXIF data tthat's odd. No I never used a tripod I don't have one I have very steady hands. As for sharpness your not going to get super sharp photos on any mobile on night shots. I'll do some fresh daytime ones soon when the sun comes back out. The photos are all manual

So for the photos taken at night are all the settings on auto with flash off apart from the 2 second exposure? Pretty impressive if that's the case.

Simply stunning , you used the Nokia camera app or the stock Microsoft camera app ?

Microsoft Camera, all auto settings.

I've found that I only use Nokia camera if I want living images to be recorded, otherwise I use the stock app, its just so much faster.

I've been lucky enough to have a Lumia 830 in my possession for a week, along with my 735.

Obviously I needed to compare the photo quality (see the photos below). Detail captured by the 830 is obviously much higher than the 735, mostly due to it's higher MP count.

I actually prefer the flower photos from the 735, the 830 has oversaturated the flower and the bokeh effect (out of focus background) is less pronounced than the 735. This might be due to the 830 adding a sharpness filter during image processing, it certainly looks like everything is slightly too sharp. The 735 doesn't appear to apply much extra sharpening of the image.

The garden landscape photo shows a much bigger difference between the two cameras. The 830 has captured much more detail, especially on the autumnal trees. The 735 provides a brighter overall picture, but the sky behind the trees is slightly over-exposed, which has caused a lot of the detail to disappear (some trees look like they have no leaves, but they are there on the 830). Again the image from the 830 appears to be slightly over-sharpened.

All photos were taken using Microsoft Camera, all settings on auto or default.
