Yeah I know it' matte since it's been seen in person as matte, the first photo just looked glossy to me. Could be the angle it's at and the low image quality which makes it look glossy. I absolutely agree the other photos are matte. And I have two 928s here, and they are very easy to spot as glossy and certainly look glossier when laying down at that same angle than the 929. But before we knew it was matte, it still appeared glossy to me. Plus the 928 was glossy, so I thought Verizon would go the same route with the 929.
But I'm glad it's matte. I've always preferred matte white over glossy white.
Seriously. I liked the idea of having a non-black phone. But the glossy is just too much for me. It's a bit too fabulous for me. I think matte white would look really nice. Also, to all of the people who saw the latest picture of the white 929 and said it looks like a big iPhone, let me know when apple does matte white.
I do sometimes wonder about how matte white looks over time. Does it look dirty after awhile? I guess these are good questions for people with white 1020's. Maybe i'll start a thread over there.
