So it was my dad's birthday last week. I forgot about it until the last minute.... so I recorded myself playing Happy Birthday on the guitar and shared it on his Facebook. He's 71...

ROCK N ROLL Ending! :D

Some lovely pics there.

Nice to see no obvious issues with white balance. Did you take all the photos in auto mode?

thanks :) and yeah. not much issues with the white balance. am glad to see the Nokia blue tint gone.

only the first few pics I had to adjust the setting because the phone tries to take in so much light. like the castle will become very bright and in white lighting in auto mode. I had to adjust the shutter speed and ISO level to capture the purple lighting.

If not, I'll swap the links for the 5mp versions later.

Thanks. Maybe its just my PC, but they are still hanging my browser if i go to the page they are on. As more posts come after them, it won't be a problem unless I try to go back to that page.

I haven't had a chance to get on the PC and change the links yet, but if you right click on my large pics (that are obviously struggling to load) and hit "show picture", it'll help.

I can't right click, much of anything else once they hang my browser. It just sits there saying its transferring data. Usually I can get the browser to close and restart it. Interestingly, the Android browser on my Nook HD+ can't display that page either. It just says, "Aw Snap! - Something went wrong while displaying this webpage..." when I try to browse to those pictures. I'm running Win7 on the desktop with 1.5G of ram.

I took a couple more photos of the Orchid before I took a crop and it was only thanks to the zooming capabilities of the 1020 that I was able to pinpoint a stray dog hair on a leaf. At first I thought it was a natural fold on the leaf.

Impressive in that respect but I still feel the post zoom capabilities on the 808 are superior.
