Pictures / Video taken with your 1020

May i know these photos are HDR ones or normal night shots? Tks

all are HDR shots.
for the trees, nothing really special. purpose of that is to show how well exposed the tree from the dark/bright area was, without loosing details.

actually the dynamic range itself is pretty good for this phone. look at the difference between the two, you can't really tell if i did not label it down which is which.

I just did my first short scripted video with the Lumia 1020. I included some tips/tricks. :)

Video looked great... the image quality is so impressive on this phone. 2 little bits of advice/suggestions turn off auto focus and auto white balance. Two minor things in a otherwise professional quality production. Did you record audio "off camera"? or is that directly from the camera?

just a quick, phone out the window, shot. Used HDR Photo Camera App. No other editing.

Thanks!!
To get the challenge done, I was working by myself and just decided to go auto. I'm planning another shoot, but I'm going to have someone help me, so we can set focus. I definitely learned that I need to set white balance. I usually work with bigger pro gear, so I was forcing myself to just let go and get it all done. :)

As for the audio, I also went the easy route and used the on board mics. It was a little echoey, but it worked ok. I also had to figure out an audio issue. I have an XLR to headset jack adaptor and a shotgun mic. Again, no one there to help with a boom pole, so I just let it go.

Next time, I'll stress a little more and fix those things. :)

Thanks, again!!

Got myself a new toy! It's a 2004 '04 Mazda RX8 GT 6spd. Had it for about a week now.... tonight I thought I'd take her down to my favorite spot on the river (St. Johns) and take some low light/long exposure (4 sec) shots...
