Pictures / Video taken with your 925

The difference in the looks probably has a lot to do with the subject matter. Mr. Tablet's subjects have sharp edges, and the colors are subdued. chumun77's subjects are more brightly colored (and therefore subject to more saturation effects), and there are few sharp edges to get a sharp focus on. Just my theory.

Veeery interesting stuff  Your Lumia's focus or OIS suffered a few times though.

Ok nothing fancy here, as my 925 is new (4 days old). I used the Pro Cam with auto settings for the flower and sand pictures, but changed the focus to "m". The last picture is nothing special, just zoomed in as much as I could and wanted to get a picture of the moon + clouds, turns out just clouds and a bit noisy. I still like it though. Enjoy these newbz pictures :P

ps: how the heck did a flower thumbnail get in this post? How do I remove it?

Nice comparison dj. It sure looks like the iPhone stock photo has contrast set up a notch. I really like ProShot on my lowly 521.

This happens to me also. i think that may be how the camera works, possibly post processing? thats why i usually touch up the photo with creative studio to put it back to how i saw it. :) still even after the camera does that it looks better than anything anybody elses camera takes lol.

I think this is a windows phone thing. I have the 8x and it does this all the time... in different photo apps too. A couple of weeks ago I was taking a picture of a GTA5 loading screen off of my TV. Took the pic in the default windows photo app, and it looked great in the review... clicked to send it in a SMS... and the version it attached had a large flash reflection! WTH? Completely different picture than what it said it took. I was also trying to take a photo with flash... in proshoot, and it appears that it takes a great pic... then go into the gallery and it's completely black. It's like the phone grabs and saves a pic like a split second after "says" it take a pic.

And there's been countless times, where like you guys have seen... I'll take a pic... looks good in app... then open it in the Photos gallery or another app, and it's washed out or not as good.

The first pic i took with my 925.
