Video of FiFi a B29 Starting up at a air show we had here in Tennessee. No tripod just me holding it so its jumpy at times. Looks very good on my phone but Youtube destroys the quality so yeah...

Nice! I saw her flying overhead at Sun 'n Fun last year, but didn't get up close. Was that a Stearman that taxied by as FiFi was about to take off? Last year our EAA chapter hosted EAA's Ford Tri-Motor for five days, and after that, I got to fly with them up to Concord, NC to their next stop. 1.0 hours in the right seat. SWEET!

Here are a couple of pics after I shattered my screen. So the camera still works but it's a WAG as far as what I am taking a picture of. Still debating on whether I want to sell it or try to fix it.

Nice! I saw her flying overhead at Sun 'n Fun last year, but didn't get up close. Was that a Stearman that taxied by as FiFi was about to take off? Last year our EAA chapter hosted EAA's Ford Tri-Motor for five days, and after that, I got to fly with them up to Concord, NC to their next stop. 1.0 hours in the right seat. SWEET!

I believe it was a Stearman. There were alot of planes. I was going to go up in the FiFi but they were booked up.

Now THAT would be something to remember forever. I'll never forget the time in the Ford, but I'd still like to go up in Aluminum Overcast, and if I ever get the chance, FiFi.

Having fun with Macros and manual focus in Pro Shot:

This flower is probably just over an inch in diameter.




The extremely shallow depth of field in macros evidenced by the fact that I could not get this entire stem/leaf in focus for any one shot. I still like it though.

Last night was the last night of VBS at our church, so we had a little fireworks show for the kids. Our church does a fireworks tent every year as a fund raiser the week or so leading up to July 4, and this year the biggest box didn't sell, so we bought it for this. Here are a few cinemagraphs - my first time really playing with cinemagraphs.

On the ones with the color pop effect.... I'm a person who has really tired of the color pop effect, mostly because of its overuse and being used badly, but I just wanted to play with the feature to see how well it worked. I'm still not a fan.

A panorama I snapped from Lembert Dome in Yosemite. The compressed size hides a lot of the darker detail unfortunately.
