Pictures/Videos taken with your 8X!

Regardless, your shots look great! But the exposure is actually the EV value, which affects how the image processor sets the medium gray value in the picture. This article explains it quite well :Using Exposure Value (EV)?by?Digital Photo Secrets

Sucks though that we can't actually adjust the shutter speed, that would make this camera a true contender! The Lumia 920 uses long shutter speeds in combination with OIS to get great night shots, but I don't think you can actually adjust the shutter on the Lumia either.

Havent had a chance to go out much in the day time yet to really see how the camera performs. Night/indoor low light have been acceptable...

Here's one from Wallyworld (resized in pshop)

I post my HTC 8X pictures on Tumblr. There are a few pictures yet, more to come.
You may also find attractive pictures from my previous HTC Desire HD. Also just a few pics, because I was posting more regularly on my Instagram.

Here's my Tumblr: Tap&Share

I also shoot with Canon, if some of you may be interested. I usually publish my photos here: 500px
Enjoy :)

What are your favorite settings? Do you keep yours on 6 M or 8 M and all the settings on default. I have my black 8x for 3 days now and can't get the hang of this phone's camera.

I posted earlier some pictures during the day, here are a bunch of night / low light pictures.

One of the Spinning Sun thing shows how even with a little movement an entirely sharp picture will be impossible. Some pictures while they look sharp and rich for a camera phone, also show that the lack of stabilization can make taking a picture by hand a challenge even in best of conditions.

Fantastic pictures. I recognize this it's in seaport village. Those are some awesome shots of the bay. I would definitely like to try some beach shots at night with my 8x, some of the pictures posted here turned out great.

Several San Diegan's I've seen on here so far. Was very happy with the bay shots, the "tree" and others just didn't feel right, but couldn't complain given they were taken with a phone. White balances are weird. Sometimes auto gives you a "inbetweener" that you can manually adjust to w/the different presets. It's worth trying if you just cant seem to find the right balance of natural looking light to swap back to auto and see if the result is different than any of the presets you may have just cycled thru!

anyone else notice the light film that is "applied" after the shot is taken? everything seems fine while taking a shot but then when you look at it, it looks a bit washed out... i left a couple of extra shots on purpose to show the washed out photos.

my setting are practically default, i changed them at first, but i didnt save my changes, so i guess they went away after closed the camera?
