playing with manual focus in ProShot, cranked it up to 100% and kept moving the phone to focus in the second pic, talk about MANUAL focus ^_^ true macro (was literally couple centimeters) ^_^

It was nearly dark out. Just a little bit of light in the sky. I am amazed at how well it takes pictures in low light.

this handsome fellow crashed into the window by my front door. i put some water out in a tupperware container. he ended up taking a quick bath, hanging out for a few minutes and then flew off.

I have always struggled to find a WP device that took clear shots until the release of wp8. I have played with an 8x and own a 920, and I agree completely with you in that in "ideal" conditions the 920 isn't as "perfect" as it could be. Absolutely stunning performance in those low-light conditions, given a steady hand. Perfect for when (insert apocalyptic condition of choice here) happens and we're all forced into subterranean living, haha.
