Are you guys getting stupid amount of flare sometimes? Not promoting my Instagram here but this type of flare has been on a lot of my images lately. Have no idea what's going on, lens itself is clean.

clean Your lens, man and I recommend manual focus when shooting the moon, it will never focus perfectly on auto, at least for me...

When you say manual focus, do you mean within a lens app...or need to press the screen in the built-in camera for manual focus...

hes probably talking about Proshot. It has a slider that lets you manually focus.

You can use the ProShot app (highly recommended paid app) for manual focussing just like an advanced P&S cameras. Set the focus to infinity to focus on the moon.
