Wow those are some of the best shots I've seen with 920!!! Most of those look like were taken with actual camera...were you using auto on most?

Thank you.
You could see the EXIF info, coz those are the original image files.

Anyway, I use auto most of the time in daylight, except when White Balance is inaccurate.
With night photos, I usually use Night Mode + ISO 200(or 100) + EV -1/3(or lower). If possible, I'll rest the phone on something to keep it steady.

btw, those are post PR1.1 update as my phone comes with it :)

p.s. The camera still got serious White Balance problem which I didn't show here. I just hope Nokia could fix it asap.
But I heard Lumia 900 has WB problem as well, and it is still not fixed, is that so?

Yes, Lumia 900 also has the WB problem, till the day I sold it, Nokia still didn't fix it yet.
Not sure will it be fixed in WP7.8 update or not.

But I think Lumia 920 & WP8 may be different, since this is the new start of WP8 and next generation of Nokia.
If they (MS & Nokia) still repeat their mistake again in this generation. I would say I will let them be and I'll go for other devices.

Edited: Anyway, your pics are great and thanks for shooting great & wonderful shot from Thailand and posted them here ^^.

Hi guys,

here are some shots I'm very pleased with.
The macro shots are obviously incredibly good but i find the auto mode (sky shots) to be very satisfying as well.
All photos are unedited and pre-Portico since in Germany we still have to wait a couple of weeks. But actually i don't need the Portico update because my L920 is in perfect shape as is (battery very good, no freezes, no random reboots!).

The best Muzik Phone ever ... only if you knew how awesome they were.

Yeah N91 was one of its kind. Phones you simply don't see anymore as everybody in the end makes the same plastic stuff with slight variations of the hardware they buy from the suppliers that everybody else buys their stuff.

It is to this day the best sounding consumer phone. Custom Harman Kardon headphone amplifier with Toshiba audio chip only made for this phone and an actual 8GB hard drive back in 2006. All kinds of amazing and a device you simply can't even imagine Nokia, Apple, Sony etc releasing at the moment. Kind of sad.

I didn't seem to get as nice as shots as some of you guys at night ... but here are the best ones ... some look excellent on the phone and in smaller size, but when you make em full size they're not perfect I don't think
and I couldn't get the Panorama to work at night it was real blurry

This is the sort of thing that you have to be super extra still for with any camera with a small sensor and f/1.4+ lens. Any shake at all makes those little points of light start painting lines in the frame. If this is from behind glass, I'd probably put the phone up to the glass to keep it still. If it's outside, I'd brace the phone against the rail. In both cases, I'd find a very comfortable still position for my body, touch the screen to shoot instead of using the hard button and slowly breathe out while shooting to make sure I kept it as still as possible.

Houston - You have a problem...

Below are some pictures I took on my trip to Johnson Space Center (NASA), Houston, TX.

Except for the first one, that is of a Casino in Oklahoma by the border of Dallas, TX.
