Pleasant surprises concerning app updates...

Well my Lumia 920's store app had stopped giving update notices loooooong time ago, sometime before last Christmas and I tried everything but couldn't get it work, even with good connections constantly on ( 4g, wifi). Even Portico update ( a month ago) didn't help it and I'd totally given up hope. I updated everything manually whenever I saw them mentioned here on WPC but that's it. Somehow suddenly 2 days ago the store app told me that I had 14 updates to be installed... and suddenly at the same time e.g. my Facebook app started to give notices on live tile (e.g. when someone wrote on my wall), which it had not done for ages... hmmm I wonder what has happened... I remember there were a few updates i installed period to these but don't remember what...

I've noticed today too that my Facebook App seems to give notifications properly as well. Also got a notification for 3 app updates today.
