Sending videos and other large files is just a pain because the OS only allowed Bluetooth for local sharing (I.e. Without internet). This app is called Zapya. A strange name to English ears but gets the job done perfectly nonetheless.
For those you have never used it, I think it uses Wifi to do peer to peer sharing, directly between the phones. It's very convenient to share any size of file. It's much alike Wifi Direct but uses its own protocol and does not require any Wifi Direct hardware. This app exists on Android and even closed file system iOS, meaning it can be universal file sharing app. Its even featured on several well known websites like CNet. It's also very popular in many countries. I've seen it climb to top spot in the stores several times.
Take a look at the app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dewmobile.kuaiya&hl=en
Please email the developer to show there is demand for this app. Please help me and please help us get a good sharing app.
