Please is something wrong with my Lumia???

I use a Lumia 520 which is now running on Lumia Black, I use to read about the Lumia Black update before I got it that it will make WP's to able to get charged when turned off, and this is one feature that I like as I'm always charging my phone at night and wouldn't want any call or fb notification disturbing my sleep. But my case is different as anytime I switch off my phone and plug it in, it turns back on... Is my Lumia Black update incomplete or the feature not included in the Lumia black update.

this is normal , it was all up to nokia to enable this feature but they didn't ; HTC with gdr3 update have this feature

What you could do is turn on airplane mode when you are sleeping, so that you do not get any alerts.

I saw one HTC WP8 pics about the phone charging while switched of and thought I didn't get a complete GDR3 + Lumia Black update.....kk maybe I'd try the airplane mode at night... Thanks guys
