Podcasts?

Oh it's one of those apps.... then we have to wait until MS releases an update for it... Did you search through the forums to check if you're the only one?

Not the only one.. I'm getting the same behavior on my 928. I had about 6 podcasts subscribed in the old Music hub, used the hell out of that and now my Podcasts are totally toast. No way to uninstall and no way to delete the app cache or subscriptions. I'm guessing something didn't upgrade right?

Since this is in principal still beta there were bound to be glitches... so yea sth didnt install right.. wait it out?

Mine runs fine but it won't play the order I want (oldest first). Tried raw files, syncing with Zune and copying...nothing works. Since it is an audiobook I'm going to have to rethinking how to listen with 8.1. Every WP version has required a high level of frustration to get audiobooks to work..../sigh.

TThat's the frustrating part. No way to uninstall. I. Can use a 3rd party app, but atleast let me uninstall!

Mine works, but it is a really bad app. I'd go so far as to say that the last one was better, and it was awful.

I'm having the same issue on my 920. Podcast briefly opens, I can see my subscriptions for a second then goes right back to start screen. There weird thing is, is that it was working after I initially installed 8.1. I was able to set my subscriptions and various settings etc. Now, it just crashes. It works fine on my 1020 (for now anyway).. Well, back to PodCast Lounge for me...

I updated my Lumia Icon to 8.1. The Podcasts app just opens for a split second, and then crashes me back out to the Start screen. Reboots don't help, and I don't have an uninstall option, and I can't find the app in the store. I did give it a 1 star rating and said all of this in my comments, so hopefully someone is reading those.

Seems like a pretty common problem across a variety of Lumia devices. This is happening to my 920. I know we took the risk of playing around with the developer preview version of 8.1, but living without podcasts (after being so used to them on my commute, during work, etc) is pretty rough these days.

Looking forward to MSFT getting a fix out there!
