Possible reason and fix for random Start screen freezes on latest preview build .36

So after battling since past 4-5 preview builds with sudden freezes while going to start screen sometimes as much as 7-8 times a day and trying out every suggestion, I decided to eject my memory card from storage sense and voila these are my findings-
1. No freeze for 20 hours then had to reboot my phone due to a sim error which resulted in remount of memory card and screen froze with in 4 hours of mounting memory card
2. Changed memory card and again screen froze in 3 hours, did format of memory card and again screen froze in 4 hours
3. Again ejected memory card from storage sense and phew 65 hours boot time and not a single freeze and phone is flying like a breeze
I am currently using .36 preview build on lumia 720 with everyting other than apps set to be saved on memorycard when the freeze happen. Can anyone with problem of screen freeze confirm these findings or suggest otherwise...

Use class10 sd? No such problem on my 640 XL. Just, camera. Plan to restore to 8.1

Yes, using sandisk class10 sdhc 32gb, and yes have reverted to 8.1 and started again last week..

Know iussue specially on 512 MB RAM old lumias, there's no workaround, standin by a better build optmization in transitions / graphics area

Might be, my observation is that not facing problem if not using any memory card

I changed 3 card without any improvements

Some weeks ago i tested w10 without SD and i remember i had first freeze after 1 day. With SD i have 4-5 freeze x day with intense use.
Another test was to don't use background image...and i noticed less freeze.

I read that 950 firmware update improve SD Card management...hope they will fix also our problems.

I remember that our x2x Lumias with 8.0 aren't able to install apps to SD. Maybe there's a bug on this phones.

Hope so..First I thought it was because of some app or my some custom setting but last time was setting up phone after a hard reset, accepted everything default in setup and started fresh and then start screen loaded, to my surprise it froze that very moment,on very first boot after hard reset...and I knew it was something to be fixed by MS from there end so waiting since past 4-5 builds..

My 720 has the same issue but not so much. The start screen freezes sometimes if more than 2-3 apps are open. Sometimes when it freezes, i just leave it, and after a few minutes it automatically locks the screen and starts functioning normal. If not, i just reboot it using volume down + power button combo.

My lumia 520 running w10 .36 has it too. Mostly when I return to Start while being in some apps ( Photos . Facebook , Store ... ) either by force closing in multitask or pressing Home button.
This problem had happened since build 10586.11 . I see that the more app running in background or the heavier task you are doing ( loading photos in photos app or downloading multiple app ) , the more likely it will freeze when you return to Start.
So far by carefully and patiently waiting for app to finish loading and closing background app , the frequency of freezing has been reduced .
