Power button unresponsive!!!

Getting fully frustrated because of Power button. It is not responsive at all..

I need to press the power button atleast 10 times to wake up my phone. Contacted Microsoft Chat support for Windows Phone and Nokia Support but no answer. They said they are not aware of the issue yet. Will this be fixed in next update???

seems like you have a faulty power button. Get your phone diagnosed in nearest nokia/Microsoft service centre.

Hey Bro. Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that. I have contacted Nokia Store also. They are not aware of this issue. This is issue is not with hardware. It is a software update issue. Especially Windows 8.1 Preview. I have no problem before upgrading to Windows 8.1 Preview. Once I updated it works for 1 week without having any issues. But after that Power button went unresponsive. I have also googled to know the exact issue but atlast found many Lumia users facing this issue after upgrading to 8.1 Developer Preview.

Your windows phone lacks a firmware update which should fix most of the issues you are having with windows phone 8.1. Nokia cyan update is expected to hit soon (depends on your country/carrier). If you want to downgrade to windows phone 8.0 , use nokia recovery tool. Backup all your important data before doing this as this will factory restore your device to windows phone 8.0

I'm having this issue also on my Lumia 1520 after the latest update.

In fact the camera and volume up/down buttons do not work too...and the phone is constantly on power saver mode despite being healthy with battery life. I've also ensured that battery saver is only set to turn on when battery is low.

I have this issue on my HHTC 8X too. It's not a hardware problem. The phone sleeps and forgets to wake up if the user makes a simple short press of the power button.
In this cases I need a long press of the power button to force a restart.

Rolled to 8.1 DP with my 1320 this monday, and had unresponsive buttons while moving several apps to SD card (about 800mb total). Since then, nothing.
