powering external usb devices

Hi! I was wondering if Lumia Windows Phones (mine is a 928) can provide any power to external USB devices. I specifically want to connect a D A C / Headphone Amp to the micro USB port and hope to not worry about keeping the unit charged. Thanks! Charles

Windows Phones do not support OTG, so i have even less reason to believe they will push out power, although i'd love to be wrong

i have an otg cable, but nothing to really use it on other than a random flashdrive and such

I just tried connecting my flash drive via otg to my 620 AND guess what, it didn't work. The drive status indicator didn't blink so I guess it doesn't output power
