Prepaid plans for Icon?

My wife wants an Icon, I was going to let her borrow mine for a while to make sure it was a good fit. I'm just going to use my Note III in the interim. Currently she uses Straight Talk with a Lumia 900 and it works fine. My question is there a service that would pair better with the Icon than that? I'm not sure what Net 10 uses for frequencies - maybe that would be a better choice? I did some binging but couldn't find much out there.

I could be wrong, but I thought Verizon phones were unlocked, so as long as the Icon supports the SIM card and signals it may be fine. For example I'm pretty sure you can use the Icon with T-Mobile.
