preparing to configure windows

I cant do anything with my surface 2 tablet. It has the black background showing and in the middle of the screen a message saying" preparing to configure windows don't turn off your computer. It has been stuck like this for 45 minutes. Is there anything i can do ? everything is ok now, it has switched on after an hour configuring windows ��

Yep thanks mate, all working fine ( at the minute). Thought there was some serious issue going on.

Omg I started feeling some stress and anxiety as I was reading this.. What a scary moment you must have gone through; makes me fear the future when I update... Lol
