Preventing accidental power ons?

I've found a few times when I push my HTC 7 Pro into my bag I turn it on again. Worst case was on Sunday when I took a 10 hour flight, only to arrive and find my phone on low battery warning, and turning off before I could dig out the pick up details.

Does anyone know a way to prevent accidental power ons at all?

You could try a cover or a case I carry my Arrive in my front pocket I use this case

I have a hard case on my Arrive, only thing is it gets nasty underneath the case after being in your pocket(stupid lint) but it does make the button harder to press.

Adds bulk too which you may or may not like.
