Problem in Search option for "Call a Contact" - Lumia 925 Windows 8.1

i have recently upgraded to the developer version of windows 8.1, the version no. is 8.10.12382.878, after this upgrade, I am not able to select a contact list from the phone "Call a Contact" using search option.

I switched off the phone and on again to verify for any luck, still I am having this trouble and I am always getting the message "We couldn't find any contacts for that". However, I can manually go through the contacts name one by one to find the required contact.

can anyone tell me the way to solve this issue.

I have also the same problem. When I upgraded my NOKIA Lumia Windows Mobile to 8.1, I realise that I have trouble using the search function for my contacts, although I have all my contacts and I can shroll up / down.
I have also lost my contacts from my Viber application. I do not know if the two problems are similar, but I believe so.
Has anyone solved the problem? I will appreciate your support.

Same problem here, but it doesn't seem to be this frequent. I have a Lumia 925 too.
Maybe it's a problem with Gmail as usual as I'm syncing my contacts with Gmail.
