problem with ASPHALT 8 installation on my LUMIA 520

I downloaded asphalt8.xap on my computer from windowsphone.com.
I copied that xap file in my sd card.
when I open SDCARD option in store that file should be there. but it is not showing in sdcard in my phone.
Anyone having same problem ??? whats the solution ?????

Yes there is a basic solution, and it wasn't even a problem..
You should probably read about installing apps from sd card. It's very simple.
RESTART your phone. Then you'd see it in the store. Otherwise, you might have to wait for quite many minutes before the store rescans your sd card.
And it works very well on a 512mb lumia 520 (though with a little downgraded graphics), so that's a non issue. I myself installed it via .xap on my 520 and it works like magic.
PRO TIP: You need atleast 2.2-2.3 gb free on your phone memory (not sd card) to install the game. Otherwise the installation would keep on failing. Do get that much space free, otherwise you'll just be wasting your time. And dont worry, that space is required for temporary files etc, in the end it'll free it up and use only 1.4 gb of your phone memory !

I dont think so that it is compatible with 512mb ram devices!!!!!!!!!

I think you have downloaded older version..make sure you download the updated version of asphalt 8..,

Please dont post wrong information. For 512 MB ram phones, they have a slightly toned down version of asphalt 8, which works with amazing framerates on all 512 mb phones. I myself have unlocked all seasons in it on mu lumia 520. Please do confirm before you post in threads.

You could've read my post above, i have explained the reason for not showing up in store. All apps are visible in sd card in store once detected, compatible or not compatible. You just cant install the non compatible ones. The most probable reason is that his store hadn't refreshed at that time, it will in a while, or once he restarts his phone.
But he should note that asphalt was updated on 3 april, so if he downloaded it before that, it MIGHT be the reason it isn't showing in the store.
If it doesn't appear even after restarting, then it might be because it's an old version. I cant be solid about it because i dont know whether his store is showing 'sd card' option or not.

Oh oh oh ! i remembered another reason !
Did you sign in with your Microsoft account (which is registered with your Lumia 520) ? Because if you dont sign in, then it will download the 1gb ram version of asphalt. But when you sign in, it will understand that you have a 512mb ram phone so it will offer you the 512mb ram version only.
Quick check: if the .xap is about 800-900mb then it is the 512mb ram version. If it is more than 1gb, then it is the 1gb ram version and not compatible.
If you by mistake downloaded the 1gb ram version, you'll have to download the asphalt xap again after signing in.

thanx for great tips... i restarted my phone 3-4 times.... and i kept the app in sd card for 4 days... but still no visibility..... i think last solution solves my problem....

yeah then that should be the reason.. There's no way to download the 512mb ram version without signing in, so you should sign in before you download and ensure that you're downloading a sub-900mb file.
