Problem with camera

Hello. I have a problem since last month. My camera doesn't work. When I open any of the apps that use the camera it just get black. Bought a new camera and still the same problem. Updated to 8.1 and still the same problem. What could I do??

Nahh, seriously, I assume you bought a new camera module (& installed it), so my next recommendation (take to Nokia Care) is moot - you've voided the warranty.

Hard Reset the phone ?
Try the camera w nothing (minimal apps) installed (BEFORE you restore your backup - it sounds software related)
Have you tried to press the camera button & see what happens ?
Does the camera work, when you press the camera button ? Is the Camera button jammed ?
Did you drop the phone ?

No. I have never drop my phone. I did all that. Removed the SD Card and nothing.

Have you tried restoring the phone with Nokia Recovery tool?

Angel, I have the same problem - when I start the camera app I see only black screen. So I wonder if you have fixed the problem and if you fixed it, please, could you tell me how? Thank you very much.
