Problem with flash

So I dropped my phone today. It fell on its back. Huge relief, since the screen would've been broken otherwise. Got two scratches on the sides and that's it. Really lucky. I then opened the camera to see if by any chance it got messed up. All was fine.
Then I got home and noticed that flash doesnt work in camera. I tried opening a flashlight app to see if it would work there, nope.
I then realized that the back cover is not fully closed on the bottom side, tried to press it to go in, but that didnt work. I then removed the whole cover and couldnt put it fully back together. I searched for what could cause my issue with flash and read that the sensor probably moved when it fell or when I removed the cover, and the solution was to apply some pressure on it. I assembled my phone and applied pressure, but it's still not working.
What should I do ?

Two options:
1. Take your phone to a service center. Unfortunately, the warranty could have been voided by now.
2. Look for a L930 camera module and replace the one that is in your phone - no guarantee that this will work since there's a chance that something leading to the camera module (specifically the LED) is broken elsewhere.

I believe that the warranty is voided, since the fall is what caused the issue.
Thanks for the tip, but I think that I'll have to learn to live without flash.

I see. Well, the L930 takes good photos even without the LED "flash". As a photographer (sort of), I prefer shots without a flash - looks more natural and easy on the eyes. The only downside would be having difficulties in focusing in dark scenery.

I usually do take photos without flash. But sometimes it's a must.
Plus, a flashlight app comes in handy in some situations.

Hmm, I'd advise you to avoid using the LED of your camera as a flashlight (well, not now since it's not working, but maybe in your future phone that has one). I've read that excessive use of the LED can lead to an increase in temperature within the camera module causing unwanted malfunctions to the OIS, including whirring noises. This could be due to the possibility that though the camera module wasn't designed for prolonged LED use.

This is apparently applicable to both Windows Phones and fruit phones... not sure about R2D2 phones.

Sorry for writing in the old thread. I decided to get a case for my phone, and I found a great one, wooden actually, looks really great. Then I thought about buying a new battery cover. Since the flash module is on it, right ? So I found a battery cover with flash module for sale.
Do you think that's a good idea, and would that work ? Here's the picture of the back cover I'm thinking of ordering.
