Problem with Windows camera app on wp10

Any one updated their Nokia lumia 1020 to wp10 insider preview and found the new windows camera completely terrible when it comes to picture quality?

Yes, it's awful. Low quality, grainy and dark in anything other than optimal conditions. Led to me rolling back to 8.1 prior to a holiday as I wanted decent pictures
