Problems updating Windows 8.1

I got it working with the manual update! Thanks for the help of our Ambassadors and Mod Leader

I can now pin stuff to the task bar(not that i cared much about that...it was just how i knew the update work).

LOL this had been really bothering me all day long haha. Thanks so much everyone!

Lol ! I remember that it had got struck without the bar filling up for a long time on my laptop too.
And it bothered you by not installing, but i spent the whole day (indian time) checking for updates, must've checked atleast 40 times ) When the last try i was about to give it, at 1 AM IST, it came ! Had to wait another 40 minutes before i could sleep with peace !

I checked for update at around 3A.M after completing the presentation , I thought it might take ages on my 1mbps plan but when I woke up somewhere around 5:30 , it walk asking for a restart.
