Lots of "Ask Dan" questions today.
I'm pretty sure Project Islandwood is still a thing, just like Project Centennial is. But it's not as simple as "It's alive and well." The bridges still exist, and they are in development, but bridges like that take an incredible amount of work to bring up to date (because they not only have to keep up to date with Microsoft's OS but with the OS or code that the bridge is "connecting" to) and it doesn't get a lot of media attention because it's really not a consumer facing project. It's for the developers, in the background. You don't hear a lot about Xamarin either but that's very much still a thing. It hasn't just vanished because the media isn't talking about it.
